Meet Michelle

Michelle is a wife, mom, homeschooler, writer, Bible scholar, and teacher. But before anything else, she is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ. Michelle met Jesus when she was 16 years old and while she's been through some storms, her faith in Christ is her anchor.

Michelle has a PhD in Bible Exposition and a MA in Systematic Theology. Her primary research focus is in trauma and the Bible. Michelle currently serves as the Director of Discipleship at a dynamic and diverse church in Las Vegas. She develops and teaches classes on theology, Bible study, and discipleship. It is her great privilege to teach and share the Gospel in an amazing community of Jesus followers.

 

Michelle is an award-winning and bestselling author and accomplished speaker. Her latest book, Comfort in the Ashes, is scheduled for release in January 2025 with IVP Academic.

Michelle has been involved in ministry for over a decade, including serving in prison ministry, evangelism, women's ministry, and youth groups. She currently leads seminars for churches on ministering to trauma survivors.
